360 Degree Motion Control and PES 2010 Release Date
Posted by William | Filed under News
Konami have announced that Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 will feature 360 degree motion control for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC versions of the game.
EA’s major selling point for FIFA10 was that it was the only game to feature full true 360 motion control. This move by Konami as well as announcing that the game will also feature Manual Goal Keeper and Ball Requests will add more fuel for an all out war between PES2010 and FIFA10 in October at retail. The 360 motion control will enable greater scope for through balls, passes and smoother animation.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 will be released on 22nd October 2010 for PS3, 360 and PC, 5th November 2010 on PSP and PS2 and 19th November on Wii

September 7th, 2009 at 11:52 amJust wanted to say hi and thanks for the great blog. Really looking forward to the improved master league management. The added strategies and player movement is something i’ve wanted for a long time on pro!
Do we know anything about improvements to Become a Legend mode? I found the current version quite frustrating and long-winded. It’d be good if you could set your own base points.

September 7th, 2009 at 7:51 pmI have read on several preview sites that Become a Legend mode will be intergrated into Masters Leauge in some small part. Not entirely just that you can import your BAL creation into Masters Leauge. Details are very sketchy on BAL mode unfortunately, my own experiences are that Masters Leauge and Become a Legend mode are almost the same but with different menus, it would be nice to see them combined in some way - I also feel Stats should be raised much more rapidly!

Konami has moved its servers to Microsoft and Sony this year so the online will be hugely improved.

January 18th, 2010 at 9:27 pmWithin the pitch, PES 2010 still feels like it’s running on rails rather then flowing freely in any direction, but you will find more rails and the degrees of separation are smaller, allowing you to run around and turn using the ball in ways that provide greater versatility, and ensure it is more unlikely your opponent will simply be capable of guess what you’re doing. The graphics engine has received a large boost too, with much-improved player likenesses (some, like People’s Hero Steven Gerrard, are now more uncanny than Uncanny Valley). Nobody would struggle to spot a regular genes by staring at PES 2009 and 2010 side by side, but in many respects the transition is as night to day (although they didn’t ought to take that quite so literally by saturating the right-hand penalty area in glare during daytime matches).
