PES 2009 demo possibly due for release later than usual

According to Winning Eleven Blog  the demo for Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 is not due for release on the 11th of September as previously rumoured after Pro Evo News (PEN) broke the story that the PES 2009 demo  would be released earlier than expected.

Konami also stated the Pro Evo 2009 demo is actually now going to allow for more than two human players to play in a demo match after fans posted negative feedback against the limited multi-player proposed demo.

Konami have also gone back on their promise to extend the demo length and have decided to stick with a 5 minute length match demo.  The full statement from Konami is as follows:

“A release date for the demo still hasn’t been confirmed but it is likely to be released onto Marketplace and PSN 3 weeks before the game hits the stores. Regarding the ‘build’ version, it will probably be the same as the Leipzig demo which received a negative reception on the forums despite players at the PES Rankings finale seemingly happy with it.

The demo should feature several licensed club and international teams, different to the teams on offer at Leipzig , which you can use in a 5 minute exhibition match with up to 4 players on the 360 and PC, with 7 players possible on the PS3.”

So their you have it PES fans, a little longer to wait than previously expected, and with less features, put the Pro Evolution Soccer demo for PS3, Xbox, PC, and PSP is coming!
