Things we’d like to see PES 2009

Pes 2008 was great, but as expected there were a few frustrations here and there, and here is a list of things we’d like to see to make a near-perfect game.

  • A graphic editor for use in the kits and player editor.
  • Customisable tournaments so you can make your own cups, leagues, and mini-leagues.
  • A referee who doesn’t have stronger contact detection than the players, meaning the ref won’t accidently foul your players and get away with it.
  • A revised engine for deciding which slide tackles are fouls are which are not. One of the best thing in PES is the satisfying, but it is frustrating when you perform a perfectly good legal tackle and you get a card for it.
  • A different view for taking penalties and free kicks.
  • More control when taking throw ins, and for your players to be able to come up close to the person taking the throw in.
  • A replay editor which doesn’t need to load the game engine everytime you which to view a replay.
  • Commentary which actually recognises when you hit the post or bar.
  • More interaction from the pitch-side manager and coaching team.
  • More Master League interaction with the fan’s moral, feelings, chants etc.

Please post your own in the comments below.

Nice list - I’d like to see better licenced teams and cheats for bonus characters like the flamingos in PES 6

First of all i want to say the pro evo franchise is excellent, nothing else compares to this wicked gaming experience! On pro evo 6 for the PS2 there was a feature random selection matches me and all my mates loved it. We got great excitment from getting a dream team ie players you wouldnt normally get together. Imagine having christiano ronaldo, ronaldinho, adriano and henry in the same team and this feature made it possible! On the other hand you could get a team of no hopers, but thats what made this feature special you didnt know who you would get in your team. We all miss it, it added tension, despair but most of all excitment! It was excellent!! Is there any plans to bring it back? I hope so!!

In my opinion the best soccer game is Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 (PES 2008). First, it can make you fun. If you stay alone at home, you can play it in computer. Sometime you live with your friends, you can play with them. Second, it can make relationships with other peoples who are you never meet them. You will have new friends. Finally PES 2008 is better than other soccer games now. Today we have many soccer games such as PES 2008, Winning Eleven, FIFA soccer etc. but PES 2008 has a high graphic picture so the players I the game more look like football players in real than other soccer games. You can play it in 3 modes, there are team mode, player mode and coach mode. Team mode is mode that you can control team to play (you can control all players in your team). Player mode is mode that you ca control only one player in your team. And coach mod is mode that you are coach of your team for plan a tactic position of players in your team. In conclusion, PES 2008 is the best soccer game that you should play now!

what we really need is the option to create your own dream team like in pro evo 5. me and my brother use to create our own teams and play them all the time, it was the games best feature but they got rid of it.

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE MANAGER BEING ABLE TO MOVE FROM CLUB TO CLUB IN THE MASTER LEAGUE LIKE FIFA. THERE SHOULD ALSO SHOW THEM GIVING THE TOURNAMENTS TOP GOAL AND ASSIST AN AWARD WITH A VIDEO (LIKE A CEREMONY). AN INTERVIEW WITH THE COACHES OR PLAYER OF THE MATCH SHOULD BE ADDED AFTER THE MATCH.

for the psp version of pes2010 il love to see more real life boots and not plane ones and the english premiership should look original since its the best league in the world and national teams like nigeria should look real too instead of just ghana and cote d ivore and instead of hidden players being classic let them be new players upcoming players like rabiu of sporting, this would make m.league intresing instead of involving retired players and celebrations should be changed to new ones most of the celebrations are old and out dated, please consider my opinion.

for me i do really care about the camera changes for the match and the replays >> I need the stable camera of the replays which is very realistic and was one of the best things in pes 2008 , and the match camera has to be more realistic .
one other thing the players since 2009 are so small and short , i mean look at the pes 2010 gameplay movies u ll find the Anfield is sooo ( massive) for the players which its in fact a small stadium..
