What would you like to see improved in PES 2010?

PES 2009 was overall quite a success for the fans of series. The gameplay since 2008 was improved, the graphics were sharp, and the game contained some new game modes. However, PES 2009 was not the perfection that every PES fan wants.

Below are things we at Proevonew.co.uk would like to see in PES 2010 - please write what you would like see.

Once we get a good list together, Proevonews.co.uk will send the list off to our contacts in Konami, and post the response back here.

Improvements for PES 2010:

Up-to-date team rosters and line-up. Club rosters should not be finalised until the end the summer transfer deadline day.
If the Champions League licence is in PES 2010, have it incorporated within the Master League mode.
Single play mode for ‘Become a Legend’ - ie exhibition matches where you can control one player. Also the ability to play these matches online.
A refined Master League transfer process. The transfer process in PES 2009 was slightly illogical at times, you could be an ‘S’ rated club, offer the maximum money and wages to a player who wanted to leave their club, but still not get him…
‘Speed Up’ mode. In PES 2006/2007 the game had a ‘double speed’ option which would speed up the gameplay and game clock in matches. This was useful for switching on when in ‘Coach mode’ to speed up any matches you were not to bothered in watching.
More realistic currency values in Master League.
Licenced, better music.

More leagues, on ML the transfer bid u did watch how much they like it, on ML more divisions like strarting at div. 3 r smthing, On ML real money, the supportetrs on psp needs more graphics, on ML having a interview and team moral :D.

More Stadioms for playing, On ML do something with countries like oging with your team to an other country with an plane for europian champions league and more attencion on psp because we are here to !!!!1!!

The ability to choose the players you put forward for set pieces. e.g. Corner kicks…John Terry in a game situation would go up for Corner, but on Pro Evo it is the forwards and a few midfielders who are in the box.

You could choose this before the game starts in the Team managment screen.

I think its better if they put additional leagues ( German Bundusliga , Turkish devision 1 , Americas MLB , Brazil seria , Argentina lega) & other Additional Countries

Asia & Oceania : Kuwait , Qatar , Iraq , Bahrin , Malysia , Indonesia , New Zeland , Fiji Island , Oman

1/ Improved game play. Last years pro was almost perfect but 09 version has too much ai interference e.g ai passes for you.

2/Control of goal keeper. 2008 version allowed this by pressing a few buttons, helps with 1 on 1’s

3/Get rid of lawenson commentary, its so poor.

4/ Create a manager mode, basicly on the cinematics you can see your manager, and thereofre you could have fun creating every manager for club teams. this will help with emotions in a game seing your manager getting frustrated or cheering a goal would be pretty cool to see.

5/Get the german teams back.

6/ improved create mode allowing bases for makes etc puma nike so if you make a team up it is easier to add the details to strips. more strip choice options also.

7/better music.

8/ improve online play, how can other games suffer no lag with 30 players and better graphics whilst a green pitch with 2 players online lags????

9/ create a referee or ability to select a referee and also knowing which ref is strict or leinient etc.

10/ Give pro a sky sports look, get player pics for each player. show the line up on build up screen for both teams.

Prevent your players from automatically chasing the ball, for example if it’s running out for your corner or goal kick, your player still automatically chases it to keep it in

you can do that already, it doesnt work as good as it used to but u can change ur players natural run they try to make, this allows more options for better goals and is useful for winning areal balls.

The ability to change teams in the Master League….and if you do really well the ability to have your international teams sign you as manager and you can play a world cup….etc..if thats too far then just the ability for you as a manager to be wanted by other teams…or if you go bust smaller teams to sign you rather than going straight to game over….

more realistic movement from the players 2009 was crap the way they move to the side is like robots…

bring the german league back….what the hell kinda game goes backwards…every other game adds new stuff each year it seems pes goes backwards…even had the same music how wack is that….

i think it’s time to make the crowd sound better. every year it sound the same…etc if you are playing away and knock the oppoment down the crown should go crazy and stuff or when you score i want to hear something like goooooooooaaaaaallll like they do in spain greece argentina etc…i think everybody will love it!

the automatic movement chasing the ball feature is very bad and has to be removed..

and improve the rating system…why max rating is only 8??

Konami should take some ques from football manager games for the master league. They should give the players personalities. Make the master league more like Championship manager but only simpler, this level of realism would give it an always fresh feel as the gameplay wouldn’t be the only fun thing about the mode, your interaction with other clubs, managers, players and the press would give it the much needed levelof realism it has so been lacking over the year. Master League was always better than Fifa’s Manager mode, all its ever been lacking was a sense of realism. Do away with the points system, give us the option of working with $, Pounds or Euros.

At this point in time Konami are as good as THIEVES, all they ever do is repackage the same product, only worse than its predicessor n ask 60 bucks for it.
Only last year did they start movin in the right direction but they rushed it, we, ur patrons don’t really mind about the game not having the required licences. Who am I kiddin, we DO. Point is, make it easy for guys to download edited material that actually works and is compatible with the specific console ie you could start a konami shop on PLAY STATION HOME where user could find and trade stuff they made.
The game can even come with a special sofware for editing anything and well almost everything in the game except gameplay n ofcorse the software/game code. We could us this to create all sorts of boots, accesories, kits, flags for fans/ spectators, cut sceens in the game, senarios, challenges, objetives etc.

GO with the Euphoria Engine it might work well hand in hand with PES’ engine, it did with the force unleshed which uses 3 different sofware 4 one game. It worked so well with Mass Effect n GTA4, y not join the band wagone, n those games are old, I bet they have made a lot of positive improvements to the Euphoria engine.

All we want konami to do is ADD to the positive things they have achieved with the game, do not take out any modes, just build on them and flesh them out, give them subtsance. Things to improve: Master Leugue, Legends, Interface/Display (give us options for different skins), MUSIC (URGENT), Online Play (VERRY URGENT)

Regarding the gameplay this year, as much as you made a lot of positive improvementsthere are a few things that really bug a lot of us;

1. PASSING SYSTEM- y is it that we can only pass in 8 different predetermined directions, its not the pad beacause Fifa doesn’t have much of a problem on that front. I have conceeded one too many a goal because the game chose to pass the ball in the opposite direction to where i was passing. Bring back the old manual pass, its miles ahead of the pes09 one, it wasn’t the best as it still passed in predetermined directions but it was a whole lot Better. The best way to go is to build a whole new system, keep it simple. No one likes to learn the alphabet all over again.

2. ANIMATIONS- They are comparable to going to a good restaurant and later finding out that ur waiter took a s #*t in ur food. Who wants to watch tevez get tackeled wrecklesly from behind and later on graple his eye in anguish, ok that never happen but some are indeed that stupid, like at times the tackled player shouldnt go down, but the always seem to and in higher difficulties the game always seems to simulate things in favour of the CPU, for instance, u tackle a CPU opponent, get the ball but the CPU’s charcter’s body goes through ur players and the gain back possesion or whenever u steal the ball from them it always seems to go to another CPU player.This need to change.

-Still on the manager mode, it would be nice if you could create an avatar for your manager and chose his character type which you could mould further as time goes by. This would in turn determine how he reacts during matches in cut scenes and also how he would relate to other coaches and players hence affecting, to an extent, your transfer prospects. It would be nice if each coach had 4 major character traits. Example; Aggressive, Tactician, Charismatic & Great with youngsters…
-It would also be nice if when a player in your team is pissed and the overall team morale goes down, the A.I difficulty for your next match goes a step higher ie from regular to pro. This would force you to try and maintain a good team morale.
-It would be nice if your manager could accept offers from other clubs with contracts being for several years not just on a season basis, also you have the ability to demand what you want on your contract and how much pay you want, your yearly wage increase and bonuses on your contract. You could then use your wages to purchase other Character traits and a host of other things, even edited stuff online from other pro-evo users. this should only be one of the ways to earn money to spend online. This would not be the only way to earn money for online use.

Good ideas all round, pro needs a lot of improvements, really think these would be awsome in pr0 2010

-sky soports look, its not only important to have good game play but a good build up also, get the mood right.

-definetaly imporve crowd noices, they tried this year to add preset chats for each team, eg liverpool, has ‘oh when the saints’ playing for 90minutes none stop in a game, soo annoying.

-better edit options, boots, create a manager for a team and sho him when goals are scored.

-make it easier to replicate strips, badges, sponsors by having better templates.

-imporve passing,

to be honest guys konami could easily make the perfect game no problem, truth is they dont want to do it, if they did who would buy the next one?? (thats how they think)

they have all the ideas planned out for the next 10 installments of pro evo but will only impore it gradually so fans will buy the game in the hope its got all the imporvments, its exstortion, they ripping us of with incomplete rushed, halfed licenced games. Not good!!!!!!!!!!

The current scout system in master league is stupid and redundant. If you send a scout to watch a player you should be able to know:
a)the numer of matces the player has played
b)his avarage rating
c)likelyhood of the player joining ur club
d)and how fast the player is developing if you have been scouting him for long enough

U should also be able to put one of ur own players on loan. y is it that u can only put a player as transfer listed, what if u dont want to sell the player. Most teams only want to buy players, U should give us more transer options like loan listed.

- More editing options with clothes and kits even for licensed ones (make everything editable), you can keep a licensed kit as the default one and give us an option to change things we didn’t like (for example I don’t like Netherlands blue socks)

- In one of the previous PES there was an option to change the shirt, shorts, socks between home & away kit separately, this was very realistic

- For clubs we want more than one away kit (like fifa 2009)

- Kindly take more care about the German national team and German clubs (if you didn’t realize it is one of the greatest three national teams in football history)

- Instead of classic teams you can add classic sections where you can put the top 8 national teams from previous world cups since Mexico1970 along with their original kits
Example: USA 1994: Brazil, Italy, Sweden, Bulgaria, Germany, Romania, Holland & Spain
If this is too big to be included in the game, you can release a PES Classics Game along with the original one every year (am sure there is a lot of fans to this and it will be a hit and a step over to other football games)

- Ability to download option files which contains the latest player transfers & ability improvements

- More international legendary stadiums like the Maracana or the Azteca

- Make these options available for all consoles

Sorry for being too long, but I think PES is so great and needs a little bet more details to be the ultimate football game ever.

Apart from the many other excellent suggestions here I’d like to see the following:

- A true analogue manual pass, none of this 8 directional nonsense.

- Definative ball skills, i.e. not have what the AI chooses.

- Proper chants and scoring sounds that are relevant to the teams fans and countries, no more of these generic goal scoring sounds and chants that sound like they’ve been created in a studio.

- Ability to switch from the newer intuative free kick system, to an old school gauge/spin/power system.(like EA did in their TW series)

- Have some nice touches like the occassional pitch invasion on last minute cup-winning goals, arguments with the ref, have celebrations where players can run into the crowd or take their shirt off (risking a booking!)

- Make the pitches more photorealistic and less cartoony, lets have some decent net physics too!

Better control of the goalkeeper would be nice in regular matches, like the decision to shoot or throw a ball and in BaL-games it would be nice to control the keeper’s rushing out of the goal. Besides that a greater AI for team-mates in BaL would be HIGHLY appreciated.

I don’t really care about the music, commentators, or other non-strictly game related crap, the only reason I like to have the sound of my TV-set on, is because of the in-game sounds. If I want to listen to music, I’ll turn on my own stereo and if I want my game to be commented on, I’ll comment it myself.

A 2 player option for online games, by that I mean 2 players from one house can play aginst 2 player somewhere else online. Currently you can only have 4 seperate players from 4 different locations.

obviously the most annoying thing is the licences but i understand if konami can’t afford it or fifa have the rights or whatever, my imagination can easily insert ‘arsenal’ for ‘north london.’

it’s just the silly things that a half-decent programmer could slot in (especailly in the masters league)that would make it so much better and take up an insignificantly small amount of space on the disc.
1. i want to put all of the english teams in one division, all of the french ones in another, all of the italian ones in another, all of the spanish in another, all of the dutch in another…. etc etc etc. why are we limited to four ML leagues? you either have to mix them up (imagination struggling there…) or just dump all of the players from all the leagues you exclude into ‘OTHER’ registration
2.why can’t i look at stats from past games? Yes, i see i beat Man City (or ‘man blue, whatever) 1-0 in the first half of the season, but who scored that goal? Who was sent off? What minute did this happen? What were the possession ratios?
3.there is a column that shows how many cards your players have been given… until you see out a suspension, then it goes back to 0. shouldn’t it show you how many he’s had collectively?
4.on the player level up screen you used to be able to click on each player and it had a portrait and told you how many appearances, goals and assists he’s made. Why did you get rid of it?
5. teams from div.2 to be in the ML cup?

at the end of the day we play pro evo because the gameplay is so much more varied and fun than fifa will ever be, i can’t understand all of these people moaning about music, chants, commentary… these things can be glossed over in your imagination. yes it’s sometimes hard to get the passing right, but that’s just the way the game develops over the decades, i’m sure one day it will be ten times better than it is today and we’ll still be moaning

my biggest gripe is why did you ever get rid of the strip selection option of changing shirt, shorts and socks separately? That saved so many eye-straining headaches, losing it was a real step backwards.

Sort out the online lag, for the love of god sort out the online lag! I have had to get a life since i can’t play online anymore.

Liked the “Legend” aspect of the game, playing from the player point of view. Would be cool to have an online games based on player perspective, with ability to move view to full screen at push of button (like rear view mirror on driving games) so you can see where ball is on pitch before defaulting back to your view. First player aspect would be cool.

10 v 10 online has to be ultimate goal.

Set up a season to match real season. Make teams reflect real team choices (online or course) week in week out. When a player is injured or subbed they are in the game (at the same time). Have a set kick off time in the evening for example and the first 20 people get to play that match. Same formation, same substitues same everything as the same game played in real life earlier in the week. Repeat each evening until the next real game.

Set up forum to discuss game after (which would last either 45 full minutes or 90). See how it differs to real life.

I am a genius!

p.s. If you would just sort out the online lag and nothing else you would probably not get the abuse you do now Konami!

Online play has to be improved, the level of lag is quite shocking when compared to mass multiplayer games like Call of Duty that dont have half the problems even with 18 players.

Also, on previous games it was possible to play 2 vs 2 online where you could have 2 of the players on the same playstation. Every other console/ developer seems to be smart enough to see the way the world is going in multiplayer online, yet for some reason Konami does the eaxct opposite!

Love the PES series, always have, always will. Im Pro Evo loyal !!

Would be nice if the Master league could have more than 4 leagues in it. Also be nice if you could go play as your international team in the summer in the world cup or european championships etc. Obviously you’ll choose this at the beginning of the master league.

Also the crowd would be so much better if they had better chants, noise etc. Or if you were able to download multple mp3’s of your own crowd chants and then the engine rotates the different chants during the match. Also it would be stunning if the crowd visually reacted to things happening on the pitch, like obviously going nuts when you score, where you can see them jumping up and down celebrating. Maybe even have different levels of noise when you score in the last minute to win the game rather than when you score in the first minute etc.

And please….no more empty stadiums at home in the master league when you first begin…i mean come on..

1- Stadium builder so you can have build stadiums eg when you play the prem league you play at 22 different stadiums not half teams play at orange arena etc.
2- Ball designer

3- billboard designer eg- jjb at wigan, to dare is to do at spurs
4- Subs warming up
5- more movement and bench action, managers up and down throwing arms around etc
6- continue to be a REAL football experience

so you can constanty change the look of each game as much as you want without the same look around the pitch too often

Obviously get more teams licensed like the Coca Cola Championship even the MLS to add more variety because there arent many teams to chosse from tbh …

Make all the players look realistic not just good players like Ronaldo and Messi…

Stop the retarded computer defender getting a red card and giving away a penalty by giving away the most stupid penalty ever when you dont actually want it too…

Make the fans hold better signs that constantly ‘Who ate all the pies?’ Thats awful lol…

Make online well better, how can Call of Duty etc have 16+ players in a match working perfectly but PES is shit with 2 people, never mind 4?

This is reiterating a lot of what has already been said but here is everything I think should be improved:

Refs:
- No more calling fouls for perfectly good slide tackles where ball is obviously taken first.

- Refs also have to be more hardlined on kicks in the penalty area, amount of times my player has been in the box pulled his leg back and about to let rip only for the computer to kick my leg and therefore doesn’t connect with the ball! That’s a foul, a penalty! Yet the ref simply ignores this challenge.

- Also what happened to refs playing advantage from previous Pro Evos, why has that been removed?

Player AI:

- No more players chasing after balls unless you are directing them! Very annoying when you’re player chases a pointless clearance and it comes off his shins for a throw in to the other team!!! RAGE!

- No more actions that you don’t tell the players to do, examples being them sliding in the box and always giving away penalties when you don’t press any buttons, booting the ball out for corners or throws when you haven’t bloody pressed anything and had the situation under control!!

Become a legend

- Just improve the level of AI of your team mates, especially for the better players. The level of AI of your team mates is the same if you’re at Wigan or Barcelona! Wages and transfers in £s or Euros. Apart from that I thought BAL was pretty spot on, a great new feature.

Master League:

- No more points, everything in £s or Euros.

- More leagues

- No more D2 and D1 cup, should be one Cup with all the teams from both leagues, the better teams joining in later in the competition as in real life

- Incorporate Champions League into Master league mode, why’d they not do this in PES2009!!!

- THIS IS A MUST. You need to be able to join other teams as manager, once you’ve built your reputation you should get offers from other teams. Give chance to make it fresh and exciting everytime you join a new team. Also you should get chance to become national manager once you’re respected enough and if the position is open.

- Should be a list of every teams managers and how they rank in the world. Your goal is to be on the top of this list

- No more respawning of players who have retired, just devalues the game. If you must do this at least change the names and appearance!

- Chance to trial players before buying

- Build you manager like you build players, appearance, nationality, stats. Improve stats as your career progresses and get offers from bigger clubs

Online:

- As mentioned several times above online is awful, needs vast improvement

I think that’s it for now, sorry that’s an essay there but only coz I love PES!

Also I agree with ‘CFC Nate’ above, Konami could make all these changes quite easily now but hold back just improving the game a little each year. Its outrageous.

After having every version of Jikkyou world soccer (Winning Elevens) in Japanese since te 90’s I’ve been PES’ biggest fan, as all of you are! however PES 2009 was a dark year in my opinion, not because it was necessarily a bad game but because there just weren’t any changes.

My biggest message I could send to Konami is to make these editions feel like sequels not like updates. Ever since EA aggressively publised their francise year after year and at every major tournament, Konami has also sensed the opportunity because not to release would mean a drop in market share of its fan base. Most fans cry for updates, rosters etc and my feeling is if you had downloadable content to keep the teams up to date you wouldn’t have to release the game every year.

For the good of the game I don’t think you should be releasing every year if you don’t have the manpower or infrastructure to support it. I played FIFA 09 and I don’t understand how people say its better, every year it just plays more like pro evo, whoopie!!!!

Right, I should get on with my game feedback, sorry!

- completely agree about online, like COTD4, I play mario kart on the Wii, 12 players online at intense pace, no issues whatsoever and I’m using wireless, I had to use my ethernet cable on pro evo but it was terrible.

- gameplay. This is where pro evo was king but it just feels stale now. Don’t get me wrong I would still say its the best (i still play pro evo 6 daily!!) of any brand but everyting feels the same. You still dribble in 8 directions, its very easy to read the game. We have analogue sticks now!!! I think part 2 or 3 introduced side stepping, then part 5 allowed it on the d-pad without hitting r2, then we’ve had some new feints which you hardly use in a competitive situation…. like the sidestep I would like to see new moves and controls that are INTEGRAL to the gameplay throughout a whole match.

To everyone else, awesome feedback, i love seeing all the fans out there being passionate about the series.

To Konami, rest assured I am proud to say I don’t own a single FIFA, however it really hurt me selling PES 2009 on ebay. So much so all my FIFA mates took the mickey out of me! I want to have the complete collection but like I said before, and in summary, if it feels like another update i’m happy to pass for another year.

have a flip of a coin at the start to choose ends. I hate shooting the same way at the start of a match… when i’m liverpool I need to shoot towards the ‘kop’ (the right) in the second half.

Realistic unrushed stats. Dont ignore the stats of less known players beacuse eventually big clubs will by them. Players like Ashley Young are way underated on the game.

Everything!! Just give it a complete overall. Improve online drastically as there is no point in having the feature when 9/10 games are unplayable. Just make it like PES 6 which for me was the greatest PES game and i still play it on my 360 today. Sponsors FFS how hard can it be to license the premier league. Passing on this game is shocking as the ball goes in a completely other direction. Players dont make runs like they do on FIFA. I think the commentators should just die..terrible.

Hard to believe i was a die hard PES fan a few years ago.

some of the problems i want to mention are already mentioned above but i want to stress them
1-referee’s movements in the field are not normal and sometime he blocks the players of both of the teams
2-some tackle are perfectly good and are targeted on the ball , still the referee gives fouls and even yellow cards , and many tackles in the box are not count ; these tackles are clear penalties still the referee says nothing
3-there should be more skills in passing the balls , passing system is not that good

body balance of the player should not be given that importance in match
from my experience , i know that when i have a player with a good body balance i can beat the defender simply by letting him next to me . However this is not realistic because we know that some players with a less body balance are able to beat the strongest defender . Messi for example . So this should be considered in the new edition of the game .

Improvements for 2010
Keepers that actually try and hold onto the ball.
Also when the keeper makes a save response time ro get back up from the floor.
Keepers terrible positioning especially for goals at the near when in a 1-on-1 situation.
Passing, always tries to pass to a man an offside position instead of the intended target.
Network matches, still awful, I have a 20mb connection, fantastic download speeds but playing online is a complete joke, still getting terrible lagging.
Opponents ability to cheat, how some players can affect the lag when your in good positions.

In the replay gallery why cant you just send your saved goals straight to a youtube, pesgaming website at the click of a button surely its not that hard?

Updatable commentry downloads, some of stuff those pair come out with kills me!

Why not have different goal nets like in Spain or south America they have really deep nets and on the other hand grounds such as white hart lane the depth is really shallow? The posts and nets never change wherever you’re playing and whats with those sand bags? Different colours of nets to, remember schuco arena, quality.

Why not have ball boys it could speed the game up late on throwing the ball back to the player deep in a oppositions half?

Official Managers in the dug outs or in the stands, imagine Fergie chewing gum?

Hand balls, occasionally you see the defenders appealing for hand ball but never the attacker claiming the other way for a penalty, madness!

Iv read the other comments i was just trying to add ideas id not seen. Unfortunately its pretty clear that the series future has already been planned out for years to come but lets hope theres a mass improvement this time around!

Hey i also have a big problem. Pro has some good points and im pretty sure that all the bad points have been hammered out by some of the angry viewers. I just think you should know that the only problems i have are with the Be A Legend Mode. I’m addicted to it. BUT it has flaws.

1. THE TEAMATES on BE A LEGEND SUCK!!! Why can they not be like the ones in FIFA, who make reasonably good (miles better compared to pro) decisions. They don’t pass well (their passes go to the other team most of the time), Defenders ALWAYS clear even though i am providing a nice option for a break, and they are all the same. What is the point in playing for real or man u when they actually play like the crap club who scouted you? Christiano ronaldo, kaka, aguero, TOTTI (the culprits are endless). It is like the game programs their gals and assists in the rankings, because as soon as you play with them, they suddenly cannot beat players, they cannot score, you cant trust trust any of them. Christiano ronaldo WORLD PLAYER OF THE YEAR, he grows to almost have 99 everything. Why then is he playing exactly like titus bramble and passing to the other team? His stats do/mean nothing!!!! You need to make this change. Either these players REALLY start scoring and assisting in the games or you stop lying for them and putting them in the rankings because of who they are. On the other hand DAVID VILLA is a goal machine, i have had the misfortune of playing with him and the pleasure of being on his team and he is exactly the same….Absolute goal getter. He is not top of the goal scoring chart for nothing. I actually experience what he does, he WORKS. Did he get programmed seperately from the rest of the game or something, cos he is the only one? Please promote this programmer and let him work on all the other players who are supposed to be GOOD. Actually rooney wasnt too bad either.

2. What is up with the managers? Even thogh im the star of the team they sit me out 99.5% of the time my condition is purple but another five rubbish guys, who are also purple condition are starting? Treat us all fairly man. No favouring, i don’t have a motherboard and a cpu, but i can take you to the championships. This really struck home when i scored 4 goals against r.madrid in the semi 1st leg, winning it 4-0. (We were basically through) The next leg however the manager doesn’t play me but plays 3 other useless guys with the same condition. We lost of course 5-4 on agg. Then he has the audacity to try and put me on in the closing minutes. He needs to stop smoking or you please program his brain to stop jeapordising my hard work and the club.

3. Because of the rubishness of some of the teamates, especially the Kaka’s and totti’s, i often find i have to carry a team. One season i played for a struggling juventus who were not in the chamions league. My goal was to help them there and try to win it next year. I carried the team to the seria A and the league cup. Then they had the audacity to not renew my contract. Who the heck said i wanted to leave. I wanted to win the champions league. This has to stop. Either i am given a way to protect my rights by a contract of more than 1 year or the wage system changes. Because i am very good i find that teams don’t approach me because of my high wages. This makes harder to keep on. The only offers i get are from NAC breda who have been saving 5000points since i was 17. I was 24 at this paticular incident, so they have been saving for a looong time.

3. What is with Champions league matches in the master league and be a legend mode being played in the daytime, like a league match? This is the champions league….please nightime.

I like the medals and trophy place you have in be a legend and the world player of the year awards are great. Please do not regress and take away these things in order to include the new things. Also the fact that you can go on for ages is a big plus against FIFA’s 4 year be a pro season’s…..good job.

for the psp version of pes2010 il love to see more real life boots and not plane ones and the english premiership should look original since its the best league in the world and national teams like nigeria should look real too instead of just ghana and cote d ivore and instead of hidden players being classic let them be new players upcoming players like rabiu of sporting, this would make m.league intresing instead of involving retired players and celebrations should be changed to new ones most of the celebrations are old and out dated, please consider my opinion.

Your highlights automatically go into a folder so that you can watch all of your highlights / goals over the season. Season by season.

This would also be fantastic for scouting, a mini-video of their latest efforts!

The ability to switch on / off some of the new ideas such as the Team Player Card thing? If this doesn’t work and tbh when it’s game on, 3am, and i’m wrecked will I really remember to select a card!?!

I think as a manager being scouted for other teams is a fantastic idea. That was great on Sensible World of Soccer (back in the early 90’s).

Longer player injuries. Tough but I remember having players having to retire from the game in SWoS!!!

Online - poor. Tried twice, it failed.

I actually liked 2009. Tbh (like all of us I imagine) I hardly ever get beat. So, how about a classic version of the game included? That would put an end to rumours of which version / player is better. Surely it would take up zero amount of space on a Blu-ray?

Downloadable stadiums and teams. Profits go to the team in question. Bypass Fifa, everyone’s a winner!

well i love every pro evo they have been my favourite for years to come the thing i hate the most about this and has to be improved are.

1 penalties= u press right yet they go center its so annoying
2 when u press x and pressure the player sometimes he slides and gets sent off when u didnt even do it so that is frustrating
3 get every team inc get the german teams back
4 proper player names and team names and stadium names that is quite annoying having to find the real names etc changing etc

5 There should be an update like fifa with transfers etc cus people keep telling me and i think yeh but you dont have the same gameplay as pro if fifa ever got pro gameplay u may as well stop processin but that will never happen

6 i agree with earlier person who commented u should be able to choose who goes up for corners.

thats it not much really if you want to be the best but the penalty one is so annoying on 360 u press right it goes center annoyin

thanksfor listening i hope you take peoples suggestions and comments seriously as we are the general public and we are the ones who will buy the game i have pre ordered pro evo 10 hope its got these changes.

1. I think konami should improve the crowd in PES 2010. E.g. In Cup finals, it should have that special atmosphere with lots of chanting etc. and if a winning goal is scored late on, the crowds cheer should be lounder than a goal scored in the middle of the match just like real life. And the same for Rivalry matches.

2. Penalties need to be improved. with a power bar and variations taking the penaltysuch has ‘Chip shot’ ‘Placed shot’ and power etc.

3. make the ‘controlled/placed’ shots actually ‘controlled/placed.’ half the time when u do this in pes 2009 it usually goes straight at the keeper. But to stop too many goals being scored with ‘placed’ shots make it so you need a certain amount of an attribute to make the shot more accurate.

4. the music - its poor lol

5. be more punishing for quitting online matches

6. improve the ‘become a legend mode.’ the stats you start off with are a bit too low.

7. more leagues such has the german league. if konami cant get a license atleast get bayern munich in the game lol.

8. a few more official football boots =D.

9. paul scholes long range passes stats should be higher =D (ok im joking around but its true =P)

10. when the ball hits the post, the crowd react as they do in real life. this is hard to describe lol. just watch a few videos of the home team hitting the post in real life and hear the reaction.

11. when the penalty is missed by the away team the home crowd should cheer loudly.

12. when the crowd is a british team and a very poor pass or shot has occured, the british home crowd should do that sarcastic cheer like in real life.

13. when the home team scores, there should be a announcer saying for EXAMPLE– ‘ and you goal scorer is number 10, WAYNE ROOOONEY’ —-and the crowd should cheer loudly just after the players name is said. this can add to the atmosphere

14. another thing for atmosphere :D, all champions league/europa league matches should be played at night time. id say 2/3 of all DOMESTIC matches shoud be in the day with 1/3 at night.

15. the actual goal netting is a bit loose. it should be so some stadiums have the netting bolted in tightly and others loose for variety :P. and if a net is bolted in tightly, the ball should make that noise if it hits the back of the net powerfully after unleasing a piledriver =D

also make it so DIFFRENT countries have DIFFRENT crowd noises/reactions to when a goal is scored. british and spanish differ when it comes to this. British sounds like ‘YEAHHHHHH’ has for spanish that is hard 2 describe what it sounds like lol. watch LA LIGA and see

Please improve the online lag situation…

PES2008 & 2009 are very very poor online compared to other PS3 titles, PES2009 constantly lags - whether hosting or visiting a host. This is unacceptible and Konami will lose customers this year if they don’t get it right! I’ve even considered forming a group and taking Konami to court to get our money back…..

Either redesign the online architecture of the game or buy better servers…preferribly both!

BTW…I’ve played every version since ISS on the N64…

So please do not make me and others defect to Fifa 2010. As this still is the greatest footall game franchise ever made….but ONLINE LAG + unstoppible running players like ETO, RONALDO, MESSI, KAKA, IBS, and ROONEY - have ruined the last 2 iterations…go back to PES5 and you won’t go far wrong.

1. Better crowd effect..seriously, when a team score, i would really like the fans and crowds shouting their happiness.

2. Way better commentators..they keep saying the same damn thing all along and this gets really annoying..they should be more lively and cheerful..the comments should be in relations to the match facts ans situations. Even when a team scores, they say the same thing most of the time. this don’t really make you wanna score.

3. Better referees.. some bad tackles are unseen..

4. Improved goalkeeping abilities..some GK don’t even look at the ball..

I have a lot more but those are the main that I really would like PES 2010 to have..

1. Better AI, overall. The CI (Cunt intelligence) from 09 must perish.

2. A minor thing to some (perhaps) but a huge irritating detail for me and others. Cut out the automatic “kiss finger and point to the sky” celebration. Football is football and has nothing to do with gods and general religion, politics. At least not within sports, or these sorts of games!!!!

The game is fine but, missing some points especially in become a legend as :
1. More leagues should be put.
2. More commentary names.
3. More strengthen points or at least more experiance points so that when I play better I get a better reward in increasing my player abilities.
4. More intelegence for my team mates as I find myself doing everything in the field .. Somtimes I get in very good spaces and I don’t earn a good pass even from good players .. Defenders are too dummy as they don’t pass good and even if they are alone they scramble the ball away (outside the field mostly).
5. Fouls are made easily, yellow and red cards can be easily shown even if you get the ball.
6. More stadiums.
7. Logical transfers during become legend (Kaka for Hull City -with all my respect to Hull city fans- is too hard to believe).

PLEASE NOTE SUGGESTIONS ARE FOR PES 2011

Ive looked through some of the ideas here and most imho are not particuarly essential bare in mind ive been playing this game since its conception:

Heres the few i deffo think should be improved:

Disable the controller check feature which basically takes away alot of the fun of playing a multiplayer leage or cup offline (this used to be the case but mysteriously this was changed . If I coudnt of got hold of kitservers which enable you to change this
as you wish. I may well not of bought any more PES games )

There should be either more difficulty levels or customizeable difficulty levels regular is now too easy and for the most part pro is too hard there needs to be at least 1 more difficulty level inbetween there On a 20 min game I usuall win by 4+9 goals on regular and loose by 2-5 goals on pro this differential is too great

Authentic stadiums crowd noises for as many teams as is possible thus including never walk alone (liverpool)
Blue flag (chelsea) blue moon (Man city) pompey chimes (portsmouth) etc etc

Get rid of the silly errors in the commentry every single year!
example “beautifully tucked away” when the keeper actually is picking the ball up!!!

Improve the tackle detection its hugle aannoying and frustrating when you can see youve made a good tackle only to get yellow carded for it or worse

poosible a few more ability paramaters for instance composure (playing the ball; passing shooting etc under pressure

Less dropped balls by the goalkeepers just doesnt feel realistic like this

there are some online games with 64 players playing at ONE map at the SAME TIME WITHOUT ANY LAG !!!. KONAMI CANT do 1 vs 1
!!!!
JUST FIX THAT crazy lag and delay coz it really SUCKS !!!
at first i thought it was my internet connection so i upgraded to 30 MB down / 3 MB up, and guess what the stupid lag and delay STILL THERE!!!!!

The new pro sucks, but its still better than fifa.

Easy goals are too easy to score. this has ruined online play as every poor opponent will only attempt these goals and play with no creativity.

Edit mode- need better templates to make emblems and logos, takes far to long to make club badges etc.

-Game play- Way too much interferance from th ai, they score goals for you when you didnt pess anything.

- although the defensive side and tactics are loads better.

-GOAL KEEPERS, since when is petr Cech one of the worse players on the game?? he cant catch or hold a ball.

-Definately the main thing that need improving GK’s too easy score taps ins etc.

-Who cares about classic teams really? too much effort goes into that small part of the game.

-commentary, get rid of Lawranceson, he is so poor. get a real commentator that adds excitemnt to the game.

-Create a manager, Each team should have a visual manager so you can see them during cinamatics, add to excitment when goals are scored.

-Online play, why do you lose when your 1000 times better than someone?? crap tap ins are too easy score it ruins the game so much, i dont play online becuase of this.

-Control keeper, you used to be able to hold a button and control the keeper in 1 on 1 situations (rather than relying on the ai to save a 1on1) its too hard to do now.

-German league

-during a league mode the ability to make transfers. (ive started a premiership but cant use the latest up to date transfers, only the data i started the season with, this sucks.

-Better music, with no words just motivating tunes than arent so annoying.

-i like the football managr comment someone mentioned, take a leaf out of their book to improve game.

-Coin toss beginning of game

-5 aside indoor matches, FIfa 98 had this, it was really good, imagine this online (no lag of course)

-Make the game look better, sky sports look.

-Better rosters, dont realse game until its up to date,

-player likenesses, Ricard Fuller hasnt had dredlocks for about 5 years?? lol
